Manager Reimagined

August 17, 2023

A year after launching “Essentials for New Managers,” Course Kitchen was once again enlisted by Mind Gym to update and expand the curriculum for Microsoft’s management team. This project aimed to address the evolving challenges faced by today’s managers while refreshing the look and feel of the modules and infusing new messaging throughout.

Key Updates to the Program:

  • Fresh Design and Messaging: The curriculum was reimagined with an updated visual style and aligned with Microsoft’s brand and corporate values, ensuring consistency and resonance with its managerial culture.
  • Relevant and Practical Content: Each module was reviewed and refined to incorporate feedback from Microsoft managers. Real-world scenarios, case studies, and practical tools were integrated to provide actionable insights managers could immediately apply in their roles.
  • Focus on Current Challenges: The program addressed the dynamic nature of management, equipping leaders with strategies for fostering inclusion, leading hybrid teams, and navigating organizational change.
  • User-Centered Approach: The curriculum’s enhancements prioritized accessibility, interactivity, and alignment with Microsoft’s unique management principles.
